Ufox HK2 humidifier white
Humidifier for humidifying small rooms (less than 50 square metres).
The Ufox air humidifier vaporises water to humidify indoor air, which makes it bacteria-free. According to research, a vaporising air humidifier is the best alternative, as it heats the water sufficiently, making air humidification hygienic. The silent operation of the Ufox humidifier won’t disturb your sleep.
HK2 is well suited for smaller rooms and spaces (recommended apartment floor area 20-50 m2/under 20m2).
The device is easy to use. The tank is filled with water at intervals of 38-58 hours with water at +40 degrees Celsius. The device switches off automatically when it runs out of water. The water temperature is 65-95 degrees Celsius, the steam temperature is 50-70 degrees Celsius.
Ufox has a long service life, because it has no parts which would wear in use. The device itself does not emit pollutants into water or air, but limescale deposits can build up over time in the water. Maintenance is easy using the Ufox cleanser, which allows removing any limescale build-up and other minerals in the water tank and resistors.
Ufox air humidifiers are made in Finland, at Allaway’s Jyväskylä plant.
The relative humidity of indoor air should be 30–45%, but in most homes today it is significantly lower in winter. Many factors affect the humidity of modern apartments. Efficient ventilation is key in removing humidity.
Dry indoor air causes and increases irritation of the respiratory tracts, mucous membranes and skin. It also reduces the removal of mucus from the respiratory system, which in turn increases the risk of inflammation. When air is still, it offers a good growth medium for bacteria and viruses which may then cause various illnesses. In addition, allergic symptoms may be accentuated, as there is more dust in dry indoor air than in humid indoor air.
When the indoor air is too dry, it may also cause furniture and parquet floors to crack and parts to become loose. Textiles become static, flowers and plants suffer, and there is dust in the air.
